Merlot is a Dachshund cross Jack Russell who was born on 4th April 2020.
Clare and a friend went to pick him up from near Lewes in East Sussex in that July.
He loves belly rubs and cuddles in bed!
He has become a great truffle hunter lately (when he does not try and eat them) and enjoys play fighting with Flora.
Flora is a Miniature Pinscher who was born in France on 15th December 2020.
We found Flora in a pet shop in Saintes in March 2021 , and after bringing Merlot in the shop to meet her we decided to bring her home.
She enjoys terrorising Merlot by trying to play fight with him as much as possible and chewing on pine cones as Merlot does not like to share his toys!!
She was given the name Flora as a shortened version of Clare's favourite cleaning product, Zoflora.
